Team Future Legend was in full effect at Bellator 59 this past weekend with good friends and sponsored fighters Kurt Pellegrino and Phillipe Nover down in Atlantic City at Caesars Palace which was televised on MTV2.Phillipe Nover faced Marcin Held that resulted in a split decision. Clearly Phillipe won all 3 rounds but the blind judges saw different. Kurt Pellegrino fought Patricky Freire which was another fight that ended in a bad judgment call when the ref clearly stopped the fight early not giving the hometown favorite a chance to redeem his self. Kurt being the gentleman he is thanked the crowd, the Future Legend crew, his family, and wife for all the support and retired from the sport once again.
If you haven't been to an MMA event you should try and get out there and enjoy the people, lights, action and the athletes come out and greet you before and after the fight which is always a crowd favorite.
