This Saturday in Arverne, NY, Brooklyn’s own, William Shamar Witt will be on hand at Community Church of God. Shamar will be on hand to Sign autographs, photo ops, and demonstrate his boxing skills for the crowd.
The BBQ will be provided by Goody’s of Rockaway beach. The first 100 kids will receive free school supplies. All kids will have fun participating in the spelling Bee, playing games and dancing to music. The event is sponsored BY Prudential Financial.
William Shamar Whitt is a local boxer who looks to turn pro in late ’10 or early ’11. His amateur career has been crowned with wins at the 2007 long island Championships, 2008 Golden Gloves and the 2008 Empire state games trial in the 141 weight division. Shamar looks to cap off his amateur career with the 2010 PAL in October. Shamar has been a sparring partner for professional boxers such as former world champion, Paulie Malignaggi, world title challenger, Danny Jacobs, and former US Olympian, now an undefeated pro, Sadam Ali.
William Shamar Whitt is trained by Sherif Younan and Andre Rozier. He is Advised by Anthony. Shamar is currently sponsored by Portobello’s and Underground Clown.
