Paulie "The Magic Man" Malignaggi aka Future Legend wins the WBA Gold welterweight Title. Brings it home to Brooklyn!

Paulie "The Magic Man" Malignaggi aka Future Legend went down to the Ukraine and did exactly what he said he was going to do, brought the WBA title back to Brooklyn. As usually you have a lot of fans that support him from all over the world not just Brooklyn. Then you have your fans (especially Twitter) who spit nothing but hate and distaste for Paulie, his hands are pillows, he has no power, he's not skilled enough. not sure what fights these people are watching but after this last fight none of the haters should have anything bad to say about the Champ now.

 

The fight took place in  Donbass Arena in Donetsk, Ukraine on Sunday afternoon vs  Vyacheslav Senchenko who was undefeated at 10-0.  From the start of the fight Paulie went to work and played no games. You can see the speed was to much for Senchenko and like many has said he has never seen before. By the 5th round Paulie was up 4 rounds to 1. Senchenko's was taking some sharp jabs and body shoots from Paulie which opened up his left eye and in the 9th round they called the fight cause he couldn't see. Paulie wins by TKO  and takes home the gold WBA welterweight belt. 

Team Future Legend wasn't surprised at all that Paulie won, not because we are cocky and Paulie is also a partner in the company but we all know Paulie has the heart of a pack of lions and doesn't have a drip of quit in him. That's why we weren't surprised. We knew he would handle business and bring the gold home.

So whats next for Paulie Malignaggi? Can we say Barclay Center home of the Brooklyn Nets? Stay tuned and thanks in advance.

Future Legend.com has officially launched.

The wait is over! Future Legend has launched there online website FutureLegend.com with a bunch of new designs that has had people waiting for this day. Most of the new designs have been seen on boxer and partner Paulie Malignaggi who will be fighting in the Ukraine April 29 1pm Sunday afternoon for the welter weight belt that will be on PPV. Phil Baroni another partner of Future Legend has been wearing Future Legend during fights and he will be wearing it in his new reality show featured in his gym AKA in San Jose, CA. Future Legend has been sponsoring Bellator fighters and each fighter has been featured in the new t-shirts as there walk out gear. Future Legend Headlines Bellator 63 at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut

As you probably heard already. Bellator 63 was live this past weekend and the Future Legend crew was in attendance to witness it. We even caught a little MTV 2 time.  All the fights were great the ring girls Jade Bryce and Mercedes Terrell as always does a great job representing for Bellator and was glad to chat with them for a few and give them some Future Legend gear to wear. Thanks Ladies. 

Our first Sponsored fighter of the nite was Ben "Killa B" Saunders. All around nice guy but in the ring that all changes. We did his thing by beating Amaya with no problem and closing his left eye shut. Bring Saunders record to 13-4-2. The New York Giants Prep For The Super Bowl vs The Patriots

So who is excited about the Super Bowl rematch this weekend? I'm sure New York is ready for Sunday.  Super Bowl 42 has not been forgotten. The Giants seemed very relaxed Eli playing pranks on Victor Cruz, players carrying teddy bears on the plane. Call it what you want but they are ready for war. There all healthy and the D line is ready to hit. We all know Brady doesn't like to be roughed up I just hope Tuck gets loose and destroys him.

It will be hard to stop Hicks and Cruz. Those 2 gents need to have a big game early and put some points on the board quick. The Running game has to set the tone early as well Jacobs and Bradshaw need to run hard and give the Brady bunch line some pain.  

The streets of New York will be quiet but the bars and houses will be loud!  Good Luck to the NY Giants.  Bring home the trophy and lets celebrate.

CEO Of The UGC/Future Legend makes a change

Hello to all and Happy New Year. First off thanks to everyone who has supported us over the last 2+ years in everything we have going on with the clothing, fighters, sponsors, charity, etc This year we are launching Future Legend clothing brand all by itself and it's going to be huge.  I would should you some of the new shirts we have but then you won't salivate anymore for whats about to come. So whats this big talk about the CEO Frank  Kozlowsky makes a change? Well he doesn't have to worry about changing the sock on his right foot because the cast doesn't come off to wash. Yes Frank has broken his foot and is on crutches but he is in good spirits and he thanks everyone for the well wishes. Paulie Malignaggi even came by the office to sign his cast.  This doesn't stop him from doing what needs to be done with the brand, collision shop and other ventures. What ever he doesn't get to the team is there to back him up so progress is always happening.


Well I almost forgot his name isn't Frank Kozlowsky anymore.  Huh? Yeah he has legally changed his name to Future Legend.....yes, this isn't a typo first name Future last name Legend. Trust me it has nothing to do with being cocky. I have known this guy for years and worked with him for many more helping to manage the companies. This isn't a flash in the pan company. The man has ambition and dream and he is following it all the way to where ever it's going to lead him so why not take on your dream full force and make it your name.

Everyone thought it was a joke, stunt, publicity. Anything we do it's because we want to not because someone made us do it.  This year has started out great with fighters J'Leon Love and Carlos Beltran already winning there boxing matches last nite on ESPN and ShowTime and we have on tap Mike Jasper of MMA fighting soon( blog coming soon) 


So again FutureLegend.com will be launching very soon we don't want it up until it's just right and the team of Ariana and George the force behind marketing and the site are going above and beyond for us and we are going to be ready to rock shortly.

J'Leon Love Boxing on Season Premiere Of ESPN'S Friday Night Lights Jan 6

 Fresh off of training with Antonio Margarito, J'Leon Love will be showcasing his skills on the season premiere of Friday Night Lights on ESPN Jan 6 wearing Future Legend as well as his corner men.  Love is a 24 yr old middle weight who's record stands at 9-0 with 6 KO's. He will be facing Eli Augustama who is 5-3.

J'Leon Love  was also seen on Cotto Margarito 24/7 on HBO. he trained and sparred with Antonio on the show. J'Leon never goes anywhere with out his Future Legend hat and we will be sponsoring this great talent again because its obvious he is on track to become a Future Legend whether you agree with it or not.  Love enjoyed training so much in Vegas that he relocated out there. Said there are more gyms and more sparring so why not move out there and better his career.

Future Legend adds 2 More Power Houses To The Roster

Power of The Youth Event in LA Features Future Legend Clothing

Team UGC & Team Malignaggi Take over Hollywood!

Wow! Where do we start. Great weekend down in Hollywood for Paulie Malignaggi's fight vs Orlando Lora at the Staples Center All this on the Bernard Hopkins vs Chad Dawson card on PPV HBO sat Oct 15 in case you missed it.

We get down to the weigh-in's at Ripley's Believe It or Not and we see the whole Team Malignaggi crew there. Allie Alicorn, Phil Lo-Greco , Nicky Nolo, Antonio Sabato Jr, Daniel Stefani, Paulies corner crew and manager and host of other people. Then you had Team UGC there as well with BklynBreeze, TheUGC(Ceo of UGC/Future Legend), Dennis Desantis owner of Dr Teas( check the link on our website), Erika Schaefer and Phil Baroni, UFC fighter aka The New York Bad Ass. So the house was packed for the weekend hands down.

Paulie is known to put a show on at weigh-in's but please don't think the man doesn't handle his business in the ring, cause as we all know he sure does. He comes out dressed in a colorful number with Rollie Finger type Mustache and cane looking like a ring master. Love or hate the guy you have to admit to his creativity. He gets on stage for his weigh-in and he pulls flowers out of his sleeve and tosses his top hat into the crowd. Just because he is the Magic Man he leaves the mustache on while being weighed then throws that into the crowd. Classic Paulie.

Fast forward to the fight at the Staples Center. Paulie is the opening fight. 10 rounds of quickness and power from both boxers but Paulie was to much for Lora and won the fight. The judges score it 100-90, 98-92 and 99-91, all to the winner by unanimous decision, Paulie "Magic Man" Malignaggi. There was no doubt in his mind or ours that he was gonna go out there and win. He has the heart of a lion and knows nothing else but winning because" That's what Future Legends do"

We all went out and had fun with dinner and drinks and strangers became friends and it was an awesome feeling. The Underground Clown women's line now in a boutique.

The Underground Clown has teamed up with good friend Velvet Lattimore owner of a luxury hand bag boutique named Vedazzling Accessories down in Dumbo 145 Front st, Brooklyn,NY just blocks away from the Brooklyn Bridge.

Velvet wore the shirt to work a few times and customers were asking about the shirts and we decided to partner up. New shirt alert....Old Skool

Boys over at The Underground Clown put out another epic shirt dubbed "Old Skool". This is when life was a little more easy going for a lot of people and more fun. Who hasn't tried to get there shoes up on the power lines to show off your old kicks to your friends.
