Faithful skater in Coney Island riding his UGC Fire board
I was doing my morning bike ride on the boardwalk and saw 2 kids hanging by the end of the ramp(8am) so I rode over to say whats up and let them know about the Underground Clown. To my surprise the skater flips his board over and he's riding on one of our boards. Brought a smile to my face. He was doing some tricks while his friend looked on. I will try to get these kids a skate park in Coney Island so there not in the street. Thanks for the love and see you by the shop. www.theundergroundclown.com

Channel 4 will air a segment on the The Underground Clown and how the company was started to honor a friend.
Channel 4 came down to the Carousel Collision auto shop in Coney Island(parent company to the Underground Clown)to tape a segment on how the clothing company came together. 10 years ago a friend of ours Corey Pelzer was murdered on a crowded city bus coming home from work to which the killer walked off the bus and no one saw or heard anything till this day. The Underground Clown was created to keep his name alive of a person who was into fashion and ahead of his time. Every purchase made, proceeds go to a foundation and a scholarship that has been made in this name.
We brought down our good friend and former Welter Weight Champion Paulie 'Magic Man" Malignaggi and he spoke about his involvement with the company and also how he felt about the violence that is going on in the community. The CEO of the company Frank spoke about the impact of losing a close friend and also about the parent company. Tiffany, Corey's sister also was interviewed and spoke about her feelings relating to her brothers murder and hopes of the case being re-opened and also maybe someone will speak up and help bring the killer to justice.
We made sure that channel 4 left with some Underground Clown apparel for the great work they did for us. The segment will air soon and we will have the time and date. Stay tuned.

New shirts to be released by The Underground Clown tomorrow
In the 80's skateboarding and graffiti were the Mecca of New York and anywhere else there were skateboarders and bombers. The Underground Clown brought back the essence with our own " UGC Train Bombing" shirt. The detail and color brings out the shirt as well as brings back the old days. Shirt is available in black and white and will be online at www.theundergroundclown.com for purchase. Check it out.
